To simplify things.....

#1 Measure distance from film plane to the center of the AE.
#2 Read under column "Draw" the found distance
#3 Use either the Time or F-stop factor
#4 Example: Distance (Film plane - Measuring point) = 300 . Using the factor with the shuttertime i.e 1/60 sec - Divide 60 by 2.84 - result= 1/21 sec
|| Use nearest setting 1/25sec
#5 Example: Distance (Film plane - Measuring point) = 300 . Using the factor with our aperture i.e f 8.0 Divide by 1.68 - result= f 4.7
|| Use nearest setting f 4.5

NOTE::If you measure a distance in between,
use a factor in between also!
RULE:: Use Zero - 1/2 stop correction when racking
out the bed with the lens at its infinity stops
Max = 1/2 stop.

Measuring point of the film plane.
Measuring point of middle (Aperture) of the Aero Ektar 7In.

#1 Measure distance from film plane to the center of the AE.
#2 Read under column "Draw" the found distance
#3 Use either the Time or F-stop factor

If you find the above method takes too much from your creativity, try this:
Available from Calumet Inc: Direct reading Slide rule to determine your bellows extension compensation
Price about USD 11.-

Another gadget, if you don't like to fumble under the darkcloth.
Looking as an ordinary pencil (actually it is), consists of two parts. The part marked "Sinar" has to be placed in the object scene. Looking on the GG, measure the size on the GG and read the factor or f-stop. Note: The pencil takes China leads (Writes on glass - erasable with lighter fluid) to mark your GG eventually.
Hard to find!

Probably the most speedy dials can be found in the Kodak Professional Photoguide.
This is the Exposure dial for Bellows extension.(usable with all your focal lengths)
We did adjust the dial for a focal length of 7In at a bellows draw of 14In resulting in an Exposure factor of 4 (2stops).
These guides pop-up on Ebay regularly!
