A visionary in Web-page design and development, and thought
of as a wizard & alchemist by many in his field worldwide, John
D.de Vries is a well known Photographer, Designer and also an
expert on hand-coded Html editing, however he is best known
for his innovative assault to establish the "WFPA", World Field
Photographers Association. His creativity and work far exceed
the norm, and his current contributions in the promotion of
Large Format Photography will lead a path well into the future
of our world's struggle for new concepts and New Media,
nevertheless keeping the Big Cameras alive and kicking. Most
important issue however, to unite Large Format Aficionados all
over the world..

Being a Photographer for a long time (Actually he has taken his first image at the age of
nine..hence exposed a sheetfilm! ), John D. went all the way, from 35mm, 2¼" x 2¼ ", 4"x5" up
to 8"x10" and 11"x14". Recently also explored the digital paths, not so remarkable though
as his friend Henry Miller(N.J), who recently bought his Kodak digital camera at the age of
90!! JD has gone back to the roots running the gamut on Pinhole Photography.
Light Meters:
John D. has a special interest in Selenium meters. Promoting Worldwide the EuroMaster II, a direct descendant of the famous WestonMaster series.
Shortly published now also is his knowhow on NorWood Director meters and its successors. What we don't know"
