How to use your Direct reading slides? Your Brockway incorporates a direct reading scale for extremely fast operation. Where speed is more important than obtaining a complete selection of f/stop and shutterspeed combinations, this direct reading scale may be utilized with excellent results.
![]() These direct reading slides preset the meter for one particular film and shutter speed combination. For example with Kodachrome (ASA 10) in your camera, you simply set the shutter at 1/50th sec, insert slide 1 into the slot, point the meter for reading, then note the f stop indicated when the needle stops. That is your correct f/stop - then you shoot with confidence. |
